Victory! The scanner is working again It's a shame that it doesn't fit all of the picture though. Because there is also some ocean at the left bottom, you just can't see it.

In the first chapter of my novel I wrote Moriko taking her morning flight. She flies till the sun rises and the people of Niané wake up once again. She enjoys it a lot because really early in the morning is the only time of day she can really be herself, stretch her wings and race the seagulls XP
Moriko's wings resemble the ones of a barnowl. In the very first draft of my story I made Moriko's wings cloaked in colors looking similar to the Northern lights. But when I started to rewrite it, I changed it. Both Guardians have wings more suiting now.

I'm thinking of making the part of her wing closest to her body just a little darker. I was playing with the shadows. Maybe I'll adjust it a bit.
